Welcome to my practice:

Passion-driven and clinically-minded.

I have been working in the mental health field as a counselor since 2017 and in social services since 2008. Recently, I transitioned from an office in Spokane, WA to a mostly-Telehealth practice (with in-person sessions Wednesdays) based out of Langley, WA on Whidbey Island. With each client, I strive to take an individualized approach, recognizing not only unique difficulties but also the special talents and strengths a client possesses to assist them in reaching their goals. Please read over the materials here and don’t hesitate to message me with any questions or to schedule a first appointment.

Services Info

Common therapeutic outcomes include: accomplishment of goals, rewarding relationships enhanced by gaining skills and tools to build and maintain them, and an increased ability to engage in effective self-care.

What To Expect

Should you reach out to me, I will make you aware of openings on my schedule and ask for more information about what's bringing you to therapy. If it sounds like we might be aligned I will invite you to a consult call of about 20 mins in length offered over the SimplePractice (video phone) platform accessible by phone or computer. When we meet for consult I will be learning more about you and it will give us a chance to determine the appropriateness of working together.

Should the consult reveal that we might be matched, we will schedule an intake. Consider the intake appointment as the first step toward starting the counseling relationship and commencing work on your personal goals. It is my goal that you'll feel comfortable and confident going into future sessions but as always I invite you to talk with me about any issues or concerns that arise. Your comfort is very important!

I am paneled and in-network with multiple health insurance companies listed on my Psychology Today page. When starting services it is important that you be fully aware of any associated costs and I invite you to contact your health insurance company to get a better idea of what to expect but I will also have a quote for you for the cost of services base on evaluating your insurance information prior to your first session.
